I'm a PhD student at the UC Berkeley School of Information (here's my academic site). I work on engineering and designing interactions with wearable sensors. I'm advised by John Chuang and Tapan Parikh.

I studied cognitive science at Northwestern University (graduated 2013). I was a research assistant for Brooke Foucault-Welles when she was a PhD student at SONIC, and, after Brooke graduated, I moved to the the CollabLab where I worked with Patti Bao and Darren Gergle. My senior thesis was on the relationship between visual search and memory, supervised by Steven Franconeri.

I started cosmopol.is in 2011, which serves as a repository/portfolio of uncategorizeable creative projects.
